This week we re-visit the nostalgic cartoons that stuck with us. Starting with Dragon Ball Z. Danny tries to sell Maddie on the show, will she be convinced that Dragon Ball Z was actually a great cartoon?

Maddie also brings up her love of The Wild Thornberries, Danny makes some amendments and further comments on the original Pokemon series, and Maddie remembers Plasmo, an Aussie claymation show with a memorable character who had a face that looked quite like the female anatomy.

On todays ep we go back to some of our favourite cartoons as kids. Danny grapples with Pokemon not being as good as he remembers while Maddie accidentally introduces us to the world of "Clop" through her nostalgic memories of My Little Pony. And also Captain Planet makes a cameo appearance!

Simon Bosco returns to delve into the ads we grew up with, the ones that stuck in our brain and for whatever reason, never left!

We dive into an infamous creepy and very sexual Tooheys ad, A salesmen from Melbourne whose gone completely mad, and a 2002 King Gee campaign that has haunted Danny for years.

This week we have the amazing Bec Charlwood on the podcast. Bec is a host on triple J, an amazing comedian who tours all round and one of the hosts of the Screen Queens podcast. 

We talk the movies we weren't allowed to watch, the ones that have stuck in our brains and the terrible time that is watching sex scenes with the family.

This week is a very special episode! We were up in Manilla NSW and managed to rope a few of Maddie's family members to come onto the podcast! We hear tales of growing up in the 70s, barely surviving a rowboat trip to school each morning, running away after breaking a classmates toy and Maddie's 90 year old grandmother pops in to try and work out what the hell we're doing. Happy New Year everyone!
